About Cindy
Also known as Aunty Cindy, Roberts is a Bundjalung woman and Widjabul Wia-Bal traditional owner who prior to Operation Sovereign Storm was an active and outspoken indigenous rights activist. She is the spokesperson and head of the Lismore-based Widjabul Wybal Black Lives Matter movement and regularly speaks out about the lack of real indigenous education in the school education curriculum and violence against women and children in indigenous communities.
Beliefs
Aunty Cindy has spoken at a number of freedom rallies since August last year, where she spoke at the Gold Coast Rally and has spoken since at rallies in Sydney and Canberra organised by Millions March Against Mandatory Vaccines firebrand anti-vaxxer and now aspiring indigenous activist Michael Simms. Aunty Cindy appears to have been entirely red-pilled around late November to early December, when she arrived in Canberra and has become immersed in the Original Sovereign movement.
Roberts, in a video interview with Tartaria Australia on December 10, said she saw herself as Moses on the forecourt of Old Parliament House before revealing that she intended to knock the locks off the doors, enter and reclaim what was rightfully hers. The Tartaria conspiracy is a specific variant of the Qanon conspiracy and appears the OSTF movement and actors in Canberra have adopted it with a specific First Nations flavour that focuses on the element within Tartarian Qanon belief that points out the eradication of an ancient culture by an expanding imperial power. Cooker Activities
Cindy Roberts was a key figure within Camp Muckudda - the sovereign citizens group which set up alongside the Original Tent Embassy in December 2021 and January 2022 to the criticism of Traditional Owners and the Tent Embassy. Members of the camp, not Ms Roberts, have been charged over their alleged involvement in a fire at Old Parliament House.
Was part of the delegation welcomed into Parliament House in February 2022 during the Canberra freedom protests along with Aunty Glenda, Graham Hood, Mack, John Lartner etc as a guest of Craig Kelly to draw up their demands on behalf of the protest group gathered there and deliver these to the Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and the Secretary of Parliament.
Criminal Charges
In a Youtube video in January, OSTF blackfisher and astroturf king Danny Searle claimed the original plan to take Old Parliament House peacefully under common law plan went awry when Roberts took charge of the protest. Roberts was not present during a Zoom meeting in November with key OSTF figures including Buddy Shillingsworth, and was also interestingly attended by fellow cookers Romeo Georges, Ryan Harder, Dylan 'Didge' Wilson, Nate Fakebook amongst others. In a video shot at the time of the fire on December 30, Roberts is present at the old Parliament House and then later is shown driving around Capital Circuit cheering as the building burns in the background.
